Summary: This manager has a generous amount of job knowledge and is a role model to the newer managers, while working towards taking on greater responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage all aspects of employee relations. Maintain and improve standards of quality and service. Monitor and improve profitability and sales growth. Oversee day-to-day operations, including cash accountability, inventory and technical presentation. Related duties as assigned.
All managers, regardless of tiers, will still be expected to maintain a 50 hour work week average, follow through with all daily duties and items on the manager checklist, conduct themselves in a professional manner, follow through with all tasks, be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be familiar with all aspects of the operating systems at Cinebarre.
Qualifications: 1-year management experience with full service restaurant. Proficient in employee leadership and mentoring. Excellent communication skills. Better than average technical skills. Superior problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of inventory practices, food and labor costing. Above average computer literacy.
Education/Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Requirement: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: Requires better than average knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.
